About Matt

Matt Vaadi is a best-selling author and social entrepreneur focused on alleviating homelessness in Columbia, SC and the surrounding areas. He accomplishes this mission by donating three percent of all revenue from his company, guHRoo (formerly ERG) Payroll & HR, to local charities focused on addressing this need.

Matt and his team help companies solve their biggest employment challenges like attracting, retaining, and growing talented people. Matt has been working in HR since 2003 and is passionate about creating better workplaces.

He now serves as CEO of guHRoo (formerly ERG) Payroll & HR, an HR technology firm in Columbia, SC. His HR experience ranges from the frontline management of 50 employees to consulting organizations in the Fortune 500, to developing HR software, and now leading his own team to explosive growth at guHRoo (formerly ERG). He has coached and trained thousands of people in his diverse career.
